| I took the dogs out for their morning walk @ 7AM. What a beautiful day! We didn't realize we were parked in an RV park that was so close to the railroad tracks. I about jumped out of my skin the first time the whistle blew! It's pretty nice to be able to get online by WiFi each day, too! We got on the road about 9:15. Everything was fine through NM, TX but in OK boy did it get windy! We did stop at a roadside table for lunch in TX. I took the dogs out for 2 walks around the place which was good for all of us! We drove on to Protection, KS in some heavy winds, had to go only 50 MPH. Not fun. WE got to Protection about 7PM. It was so nice to see Andi, Kurt, Allison, Natalie and to meet Anna Faith for the first time. She will be 5 months old. |
