Since dropping Rebecca off at the Atlanta Airport (May20th) Dave has slowly made his way north to be in position for when She and grandson Jordan fly into D.C. Dave is in position and tomorrow, Jun 10th, the two of them fly to Dulles Int'l at D.C.

The drive from the KOA in Rocky Mount to this park near Williamsburg, VA was an easy one. Only 165 miles taking the back highways, not the interstates the scenery is much more exciting. Dave saw peanut farms, wheat fields ready for harvest and beautiful countryside. This park is the first of the Outdoor World system we've stayed in since we added Outdoor World to our Thousand Trails package last fall. The first impression is a good one. Dave purposefully parked nearer to the activity area out of consideration for Jordan. The pools and store are easily within a short walk.

From this location we'll be touring Historic Jamestown, Historic Williamsburg, Historic Yorktown and other fun things this area has to offer. Dave knows alittle about what the area has to offer as he was stationed near here a few years ago.
