| Monday, June 1......from Home---House Springs, Missouri We finally have made plans to leave on June 10. I'm so excited! Joe's parents have sold their house and have moved to their new condo. The Rehab House is still for sale....but we've figured out a way to go and have this taken care of. Our first great-grandchild Hailie has arrived :-) She is such a cutie..... I'm so glad we were here to see her. We are now getting everything ready with the RV. Most things are done but there are a few things to finish plus packing during this week. We went on a 'shake-down' trip to visit with old friends, Jeanne + Jim, last week. We went to Mill Spring in southeast Missouri. We had a lot of fun at their place. Missouri sure has a lot of beautiful scenery. Thanks friends for the fun and wonderful food :-) Jeanne & Jim are both great cooks. We also took a trip this weekend to Cabool in Southwest Missouri. My sister, Helen + her DH, Henry live there. Cabool is about 3 hours from us. I just love all the green, wild flowers and rolling hills we see when traveling there. Helen can sure cook and they treated us to a great steak BBQ, along with a friends of theirs. My journal won't be as extensive as some very good ones I've been reading. It is unofficially the "Jack Webb Journal" (ha ha) ....he always says, "Just the facts". I will send out a new post whenever I can. I may not be able to get on-line at times. So, don't worry if you don't hear from us for awhile....I just can't get a signal. Our first destination is Kansas City, MO/ Independence, MO. We'll see you there :-D. |
