The Reasonably Planned Hannay Tour 2008 travel blog

left for our Day Trip to Macau only just made it onto the ferry after being held up in the queue to have our pasports checked with 5mins to spare.

Walked around the historic parts of the Portugese settlement. Saw an NZ Export shop! Nearly expired walking up the steep street to the original fortress, but worth the effort in the heat & humidity. On our way down we stopped to look @ all that's left of an original building facade & then down came the rain! So we went exploring thru some original Chinese furniture shops.

Got on another bus to go in the opposite direction to buy some egg custard tarts fom the shop that originally created them. They were divine! So divine in fact that Meg had to go back & buy another 6 to take back with us!!!

Went back on the 6.30 ferry.

Steve took the girls to the Night Markets & got some lovely things.
