| Our epic journey ends with... Taxi, Bus, Taxi, Ferry, Walk, Bus, Bus...14 hours to get from Chefchauoen to Costa del Sol via Tangier and Algercerias. The ferry ride was the highlight of the journey, even though it was an hour late departing, we happened to be 2 of 6 people (not counting crew or freight containers) and the only food we had was 1 chocolate twinkie, a small bag of chips, fanta and a coke...we sailed past the ROCK, of Gibralter that is...even though we knew to expect something big, it is still bigger than anything we expected and again worthy of many photos. The best part of this leg was meeting up with someone, Heidi`s parents in the Costa del Sol. We spent 1 day at the pool, the next was a day trip to Gibralter where we went to the top, played with some monkeys and investigated the Siege tunnels. Today we spent the day in Mijas, yet again Granada will be for a future trip as we just didn´t have the time, but we head for Madrid tomorrow and will be home in time for work Monday morning...thanks for reading and we will see you all soon... |
