We've had a great week among friends. The local Good Sam RV chapter had a campout in Shediac this past weekend. Another opportunity to get reacquainted with friends and share our stories. Everyone is very friendly and genuinely interested in each others' goings on. This is a great time to find out about other parts of North America that RVers visit - such as Florida and Texas. You never know when you might learn some useful information or hear about a great campground that's worth writing down for future reference. Of course there are sad moments when we hear about people who have passed on as well. It's all part of the fabric of the life we are experiencing now. We've attached a picture of the group during our meeting on Sunday. We took a picture of the motorhome at the Shediac Wishing Star Campground. We like this campground. It has had a tough spring with all the snow melt and then the spring rains. It should start looking better with the warmer weather. The campground fronts Shediac Bay; you can see the Bay in the background. Also, for those of you from away that may have been by our way previously we've attached a picture of the lobster that Shediac is so well known for. The monument is 35 feet long, made of concrete and steel, and weighs 50 tonnes.
