Lindell's Great Adventure in Latin America travel blog

the 7 colour hill in pumumarca

A nice little town where I finally felt as though I had returned to civilisation. There are cafes, footpaths, shops with real merchandise in them, and people who are used to serving in the shops. Finally!!!! Anyway, it isn't much of a tourist place unless you get out of town and see the Quebrada( I saw it coming in on the bus) or go on the train to the clouds. So, I spent a nice day just chilling out and window shopping and celebrating the fact that I can have a 1/2 L of wine for about 30 cents and sit in a cafe to enjoy it. They even have a civilised cinema which naturally I had to take advantage of. The only problem there is the only movie was one with Richard Gere, and I'm not much of a fan.
