Last Visit with Hoersters for a While May 25, 2008

This morning I met Dick and Maxie at church at 8:30. Their sons and their families were all out of town for the holiday week end. I was sorry that I didn't get to see them.

The gremlins apparently were at church, too, as the air conditioner had quit working! The pastor had taken off his coat and invited everyone else to do the same. The choir didn't wear their robes either. After church we went to Sunday school. The classroom was cool because there are separate air conditioning units in that part of the building.

Then we went home to change clothes before meeting for lunch at Bejas Grill and Cantina. The food was very good. Bejas is on Main Street near the intersection with Llano Street. They have outdoor dining but we elected to go inside where it was cooler.
