No tours but I can stay busy

|Yesterday we had another wonderful day here in Hannibal. It was cool enough to require a sweater or a sweatshirt but warm enough to be entirely comfortable with one of them.
Marilyn & I had our morning coffee and were ready to start the day. I was supposed to help out at the cave but any time I tried to talk I began to cough. I walked over to the ticket office and tried to explain but couldn't talk. They understood just fine. :) Linda asked if Marilyn could possibly help in the gift shop so I asked Marilyn and she did go over to help out. I think she enjoyed being in the company of the other gals working there.
I did take the van in for an estimate to repair the hail damage. It wasn't as much as I expected, with the total cost to repair the van at $1081.00.
Once I returned to the campground I wanted to do something to help out.
Since I felt ok but simply couldn't talk, I walked over to the maintenance shed to get the riding mower. At least I could help out Jeff & Chuck by mowing some grass.
So I spent the day riding around mowing grass. I managed to get a lot done.
I stopped around 3:00 PM and cleaned up to go out for dinner. Marilyn stayed in the gift shop until 4:00, when she returned to dress for dinner with our friends.
We joined Dennis & Sonja at the Mexican restaurant for margaritas and some good food, lingering to visit with them for awhile after the food was gone.
Marilyn & I returned to the RV in time to watch the "American Idol" results.
I took some medicine, went to bed earlier than normal, watched the Cardinal ball game, and fell asleep. I slept great all night, sleeping a solid nine hours.
So, yesterday was a good day. I hope all of you had a wonderful day and that you, like myself, just can't wait to see what this day has in store.....
