We were adopted by the Alamo Area Escapee RV club!

They are a wild bunch and like to party!

We had a shrimp, sausage, potato & corn boil and it was...

There was lots of shrimp cooked Texas style!

You don't go hungery as there is always something delicious cooking!

This is one of the social hours we had at 4 PM...

There was a band night in which Barbara & James played Spoons!...

We had a great time all week with some great Texan's that...


Meeting, being adopted and then joining Chapter #11 of the Escapees was one of the most fun weeks we've had in Port Aransas! These people all welcomed us as if we'd been long lost friends. They kept us so busy with all their fun activities that I was totally worn out by the time we left! We had games, music, dancing, pot lucks, dinners and social hours every day! It was totally a blast! We exchanged phone numbers and email addresses with several of the members and can't wait to see them all next year. We will never forget these warm and wonderful people!
