Tease photo

Another tease

Before starting Russian River TTN, I must let you know where we are today. We made it, we are in Tok, Alaska, USA, hurray!!! We are loving it (as we have the whole trip - even more) and it is incredibly beautiful. That's such a tease for future episodes, isn't it?

Russian River is yet another beautiful Thousand Trails Preserve in the middle of California wine country. It was a lovely spring, flowers were blooming everywhere and the vineyards were greening up. We went to several wine tastings, my favorite was a small, obscure wineary (unfortunately our schedule was catching up to us and we could not spend much time here). I would love to come back and really take my time.

We also went to Armstrong State Park to enjoy the redwoods and were awed by their size and age. It also smelled so good as we hiked through the park.

It has become more difficult for some of us to get broadband internet service even though we have great cell phone signals. We are trying to work it out but may have to rely on spotty wifi. Please don't give up on us...
