Today we visited the beautiful old boat called the Victory, which is Admiral's Nelson's boat that he sailed on in the Battle of Trafalgar when the English fought against Napoleon's French/Spanish fleet. France was ever expanding and England had to defend itself, so the English fleet went out to meet Napoleon's for a huge battle on water. Nelson is famous for his defeat against the opposition as he used new tactics to win, unfortunately he died during the battle, but just after he found that they won. The boat was huge with a surprisingly small kitchen. One of its sails is displayed in the museum, with its canon holes in it.
