After leaving Moshi and Kilimanjaro behind, we begun the safari protion of our trip. Manyara Conservation Area afforded us with our first close up encounter with nature. I wondered how this affected the animals but they seemed to be quite ok with all of the human presence in their habitat.

I don“t have much to say at all, but I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed the encounter. At some point, I decided not to focus on pictures as I felt I was not enjoying the experience as deeply as I could. I begun to simply take it in and be in the moment.
