Our Cabin in Wasilla
| Well Folks, we got to where we have planned on staying. Anchorage is about 40 minutes by car from Wasilla and not a road bad trip. We are on the railroad stop to Anchorage and all the way to Fairbanks. Very pricey though but could be something to do. Denali Park is about 4 hrs away and worth the trip. Our cabin comes fully furnished, indoor plumbing and lots of room to sleep guests. We are surrounded by woods and have seen alot of piles of moose poop. This is a good thing becuz that means the moose will come visit our cabin eventually. Louie is having the time of his dog life exploring the area. We are about 2 miles from the main square in Wasilla so not too far out. The days have been sunny and bright. The temps have been about 48-50 during the day but still gets down to 32 at night. We are been grocery shopping and prizes are not too bad. We actually were able to buy Bison or Buffalo meat for our Sunday dinner. Gas here is running about $3.64 a gallon. We are getting ready to explore the area and take some day trips. It should be exciting. I can't believe Craig and I are living in a cabin in the woods in Alaska. Its a dream come true.
