Back in the old c y

Figured it was about time I wrote again since it had been so long. Been busy as a busy person could be.

So where did I leave off? Well I finished the Oz then Malaysia GP, I didn't get to go to Bahrain or Barcelona but as soon as I got home I began to move house. I now live in a great location. Great views and a few minutes walk from the beach with my bessie mae Jane. We have since decided to call our house Noah's arc and I'll tell you why. Obviously we had Pingu and Merlin and Princess. The day I got back we went seeking out for another dog, not planning to get one that day but of couse we did. We went to the rescue shelter where we saw Mango. A collie- german shepherd cross that had been tied up with her legs together alongside her brother with no shade, food or water. All of this was done at the hands of the council- all tied up ready for shooting. Oh the joys of Cyprus. Village idiots.

So that makes 4. Then it became apparent that I have a lot of spare time on my hands so I began to volunteer at the dog shelter, it's very hands on and of course I get more involved than required. I take the strays home, bath them, pick the ticks off, front line them, take them to the vets etc. Mostly walking, feeding and cleaning. The vet bills are costing me a bit, it's a non profit, non government funded organisation so I pay these bills myself.

One dog in particular looks like my first dog Ludo except he's been starved within an inch of his life hence the name I gave him- Bones. I have fostered this dog since I feel he needs special attention as he's not gaining weight. I've got him vitamins and special food and tomorrow he's going for the chop. After much advertising, begging and posters I have found him a home. Currently he's curled up between me and Jane.

After all this work I am now on the commitee, helping with events and awareness. We're organising a riot- sorry I mean protest because of all the poisoning. Life's not complete without a tree hugging arrest surely.

I am about to embark on opening my new business it's all coming together, I want to put on a fashion show and live band evening as a fund raiser and a percentage of the dresses will go to the charity continually not just on the night. So it's all go.

Had a couple of surfs since i've been back, I have a meeting tomorrow with a directer as they want me to be in a music video! That should be interesting and co host with someone on MTV. Not sure if it's MTV that's played everywhere or only Greece and Cyprus I will find out and let you know.

In May I head off to Istanbul, then to the uk, then to Monaco then back to Cyprus for 2 races. I am doing the golf open in July I think it is and I will be doing Silverstone, Shanghi and Singapore yet too.

So all good good good. Think i've covered most points, i've just been bustling about mostly with 20 dogs or so. Will of course update when I'm on my travels next month!
