|Headed off on our long drive to Merzourga where we were set to take our camel ride out to berber tents for the night. But we were in the middle of a very fierce sandstorm so Redwoune, our tour guide said we should book into an hotel on the edge of the desert and hope that things cleared the next day.
Dawn and yes the sandstorm had abated enough for us to mount our camels and head out to experience dawn across the sanddunes.
Both of us agree that it was one of the most magical experiences of the trip, if not our lives. No Lawrence anywhere but at least none of us fell off.
Nerryl in black of course and Carole is third last complete with turban.
