Well, the first week was a shake down cruise. We made our way north to Homasassa Springs, Fl to a little park called Turtle Creek. It was a great place to settle in to our new home. We figured out the big awning. I got the huge pile of stuff out of the shower - everything from Fed Ex envelopes to hair clips - got it set up - our new shower is wonderful! I gave Abby a bath and got out the clippers and gave her a little trim. We took Mike's bike to the repair shop.... oh yah, on the way to Homasassa a car pulled up beside us and did a pantomime about biking. Pointing frantically to the back of our rig. So we pulled over and found that the bikes had come loose and were dragging down the highway. oops. The RV park staff directed us to a local bike shop and it was an $18 overnight repair, so lucky. We cruised in the car and found old town Homosassa, really cute, 3 waterfront bars with seafood right off the boats, Abby sat on her first bar stool! She has been awesome. We also saw a momma manatee with a baby ... and gators and turtles. Great stop.
