The days are warming up to a more tropical feel. We spent 4 days at Crystal Isles RV Resort in the Crystal River area near where our friends, who live in Michigan during the summers, spend their winters. They showed us some of the highlights of the area including all the good places to eat. There are hundreds of natural springs in Florida. Homosassa Springs is a wildlife preserve and where injured manatees are brought to heal in the 72 degree fresh water. The whole gulf coast of Florida is home to these slow moving giant mammals related to the elephant. Another day, Jerry and Glenora took us to Rainbow Springs, Florida's fourth largest springs, where we enjoyed a picnic and relaxed in the serene gardens of azaleas, waterfalls, and georgous views. We enjoyed our time with Jerry and Glenora and spent some time at their home on a golf course. Just sitting in their back yard enjoying the view of the surrounding hills was very relaxing.

We are now at the Thousand Trails Orlando Preserve about 15 miles northwest of Disney World. This is a very nice park and we enjoyed a swim in one of the pools here this afternoon. This evening we had rain with thunder and lightning for about an hour, and then it cleared right up.
