Colby watching grandpa

Colby & grandpa down for a nap

Colby enjoying his nap

Yesterday was a wonderful day in spite of the damp, chilly weather in this area.

The wind from the previous day had caused one of our slide topper awnings to roll under a bit so Jeff helped me get that restored to its normal status.

Jennifer & Colby came in to visit and that was fun. I was helping with a large group of high school students from Hallsville, MO and had my tour group in the theater, when the door opened and Jennifer was standing there with a huge smile on her face. That made my day. I told her that I would be home as soon as I finished this tour.

When the tour ended I walked over to the RV and had a nice visit with Jen, played with Colby for a bit and then got to feed Colby. He even burped for grandpa right on schedule.

Once Colby was down for his nap, grandpa joined him on the bed and the two ladies in the house left to go get some pictures printed at Wal-Mart. Colby was still asleep when they returned but I had not even fallen asleep yet. Too busy just watching Colby sleep. :)

Jennifer was getting ready to go home when Roy called me to ask if I could give the 5:00 PM tour, which is the last tour of the day. Sure! It seems that the guide on duty had to leave for an emergency so I was called in. That's what I am here for. :)

I dressed in my uniform, carried Colby out to the car for Jen, gave her a hug and a kiss and then went to give a tour.

Fifteen people showed up for the final tour of the day and we had a good time.

I was back home by a few minutes after six and ate some chicken and some salad that Marilyn had waiting for me. That was followed up by apple pie and some "American Idol" on TV. Not long after 9:30PM, I went to bed to read and Marilyn joined me within a few minutes.

We had a good night of sleep last night and didn't get out of bed until after 7:00 this morning.

One of the things I managed to get done yesterday was to make a reservation for the ABC Campground in Branson, MO, arriving on June 1st.

Marilyn & I will celebrate our 46th anniversary in Branson on June 2nd. I'll bet we can find a nice place to have dinner and may go to a show. I'll let you know.

Well, dear readers, Marilyn has placed a hot cup of coffee in front of me and it is time to wrap this up.

I hope all of you have a wonderful day today. As for us, well I just can't wait to see what this day has in store.....
