Tonite we write from LasCruces, NewMexico..with a crippled Motorhome/ we hit road debris with damage to our exhaust pipe, drive shaft, and possibly the catalyic converter..we were able to get roadside assistance and did not have to be towed the 89 miles to the next town that can possibly fix it..we may have to wait for parts/labor..but a Ford dealer will see the rig tomorrow and "evalute" what it will take to fix it and get parts..it is sunny and lovely here..great RV Park! a hydrotherapy pool, free full breakfast tomorrow and we had a great Mexican dinner tonite..life is full of surprises,,but we are so glad no one was hurt..BLUE shivered the whole time we drove about 40mph the 89 miles to a town where were planning to stay until Sunday!!! Pray for us to get the fix and parts quickly..Happy Easter to all (the Holy Trinity Monastery visit was wonderful---vespers were lovely/pecans and home-made bread..yumm...)went to Tombstone this week and saw cowboys, Indians, "bar" girls, and lots of Western stuff; went for historic narration trolley ride and even Blue loved it! HAD a picnic lunch overlooking Boot Hill where famous Earps were buried/ great vistas with awesome mountains/saw signs to watch for rattlesnakes and scorpions..eeek..next stop, SanAntonio TEX after motorhome fix..love to all..fran & paul
