After leaving Monterey on the 7th, we headed to Concord (east of San Francisco) to visit Russell's cousin George and his wife, Lucille. This is the third time we've been able to visit since getting the RV in 2000. It was so nice to just hang out, sleep late, eat and talk endlessly. We were invited over to their daughter Tina's home for dinner. Andrew, Tina, little Christopher and the two beagles treated us to a BBQ. Tina is into scapbooking and starting to stamp cards, so we were able to compare notes.
Lucille collects dolls that are so life-like and beautifully dressed. They have added another dog, a little Yorkie, to the household and still have their parrots; we never lack for entertainment.
Before we left, George, Lucille, Andrew, Tina, Russell and I went out to a Chinese Buffet and totally overate. Isn't that what you're supposed to do at a buffet?
Everything is in bloom out here, so we will get to have two Springs this year. As we left to start East, George and Lucille were heading out for Lake Tahoe.
