The Alps from Schilthorn

Where James Bon "OHMS" was filmed

Today was the highlight of our trip so far! Yes it was a beautiful cloudless and cold day! Just the day to go to the dizzy heights of 3000m. We had bought tickets to go up to Schilthorn, a peak of 3000m with 360° panoramic views of the Jungfrau, Eiger and Monch peaks.

What a trip it was..... Train from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen, then cable car/funicular to Murren. A walk through the snow covered streets of Murren then Cable car for 2 legs right up to the Schilthorn. This is where the Bond movie, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, was filmed. The place was overrun with skiers, can't imagine why?

The view was indescribably beautiful and the trips on the cable cars where fantastic, sitting out in a gondola, hundreds of metres above the ground with only a cable to hold one there.

Then it was back down to earth again, a fantastic trip. Unfortunately can't load any pics at the moment as the computer won't allow it.

Oh, yesterday both Robyn and I bought ourselves a Swiss watch each. Well, one is in Switzerland!
