| WEDNESDAY 13th FEBRUARY 2008 We arrived at Da Nang Airport some 4 hours before we were due to fly in a somewhat combined 'over anxious' and 'super cautious' mood. We were both keen to leave Hoi An simply because we had spent over 8 days in the same place, and were unbelievably anxious that we didn't miss the 'once a week' flight to Siem Reap, which would have resulted in us spending another unimaginable 7 days in Hoi An... Da Nang airport was yet another quiet airport experience, compared to the usual chaos and constant streams of queing one associates with any airport back home. We just whiled away the hours playing cards...nothing much to report on other than we both felt that 4 days & 4 nights in Siem Reap visiting the amazing complex of temples at Angkor Wat would be the perfect way to kick-start our adventures once again!!!! |
