Rob with some snow

We had a wonderful night's sleep in really comfortable beds with these rather fluffy and cosy doonas. Wonderful would be an understatement.

Cold but brisk, 0C at dawn rising to 5C during the day. We've been really lucky with the weather on or trip so far. There was only one rainy day, the one we arrived in Rome. Other than that it has been fine and looks like staying that way for at least the next few days.

We headed off into the Railway station around 9.15 to check out where we needed to go for tomorrow. Talk about luck, being Wednesday it was market day and in the middle of the railway station was a huge range of stalls selling all sorts of produce.

I had to head off to the docs to sort out my chest cold, so I boldly went on the trams, leaving Rob behind at the hotel. The doc visit was good but expensive and I only hope my travel insurance covers it.

We then took a 4 hour City and outer city locations tour which was extremely interesting... We drove up to the top of a hill or mountain to get some good panoramic views which were somewhat diminished by the fog around. There was still snow on the ground.

Had some dinner at the markets at the railway station then wandered around the Bahnhoferstrasse looking in the shops till 8pm.
