Roy & Robyn's Europe Trip 2008 travel blog

This morning was yet another early start as we took a ferry over to the Isle of Capri - the island playground of the rich and famous. Normally with a population of around 11000, it swells to 20000 during the tourist season. The island is small, roads as extremely narrow and of course it is expensive. We actually got to go down to one of their so called 'beaches' a stony beach about half the size of our front lawn....

Still it was an interesting place and worth the visit. Lunch was provided and we got ripped off on the drink prices - I had a beer and Rob had a fresh squeezed juice - cost around 10 euros ($17)....

Back to Rome to our hotel for a well deserved rest.
