Hey all

I am now in Laos, and very happy to be here. It is so much warmer, although chilly at night, and I am seeing the sun agan. Plus, how can I not like a country that plays bocce ball?

I flew into Luang Prabang and have been here for the past four days. I have actually met up with a few different people that I originally met throughout Vietnam and have been going on great day trips with them. (Sara, remember the CA boys from Mui Ne? crazy small world!).

So, I cannot provide any details or stories of my highlights here (swimmng in lagoons and playing in waterfalls, taking a boat ride on the Mekong River, eating chicken on a stick, drinking Lao coffee, seeing smiling monks walking the streets, eating intestine soup, etc.) because the internet cafe that I am in is shutting down and not so casually kicking me out.

Also, the internet access is very limited in this country so I am not really planning on blogging much. I will be in Bangkok at the end of the month and will have many stories to tell by then. Hope everyone is well.
