| from zanzibar we headed back through tanzania into malawi and had a nother chill out few days and the best day of my life ever...we had a day spit roasting a pig..it was absolute heaven...sat round drinking, cooking food and playing games in the sun on the beach...i thought i had died and gone to heaven! i wish i had died the next day thought when i saw my bar tab! we had 31 beers each that day, there were 4 of us doing it! we spelt out the word pig in big letters mage from beer bottles! yhe reason we got through so many is cos we started at 7 in the morning..the earliest i have ever started drinking! we had to catch the pig frst too! wish i could getsome photos on here to show you! outside the campsite there were a load of stalls with local people selling so called malawi chairs, hand carved chairs, pretty cool things actaully. the funny thing was though the people selling them all had their own names, like mel gibson and puff daddy. i bought a wooden statue thing called a tokalosh from a bloke called simon fantastic! Sorry jules, im posting it back to you from cape town, its pretty big, about a metre high but its supposed to bring you good luck! when i bought it it needed polishing so i bough the stuff and spent the next day in the sun polishing my tokalosh!!! Its very shiny now! Next was down to llilongwe, capital of malawi for a night on the way to zambia! we went straight through zambia cos theres nowt there in to zimbabwe (only vic falls, right on the corner) which is where i am now! wicked place, town is a bit touristy but its that kind of place! |
