Rox In Front Of Our Pad!
CHECK OUT PLUMBING ON THE BACK!
| Day 1 We have arived in Belize and are glad to see Donna & Enrique right in front of our noses waving, Rox got a big hug. We got in the red Jeep and headed North to Corozal 1.5 hours and then East 1/2 hour to Copper Bank. This is a very beutiful trip and its a dirt road and a man powered cable bridge to cross a small river for the last 1/2 hour. We did stop for lunch along the way and had a great meal of rice beans and Fish. Had 1 beer as well (Belcin) after about 18 hours of travelling it was a lot. Copper bank is quote ,"off the grid" no internet and phone is portable satilight but looks like a full size phone with an antena.... hmm. We stopped at Donna's cafe and dropped off our bags. We will stay behind the cafe and she is down the road 1 mile in a very cool house built up on cement pillars. Donna made us soup, very , very good and we had a few beer. Time for bed. Off to our pad. Sleep time. |
