Hi -

I thought I'd add some of the photos I took in October of 1970 when I visited Afghanistan. It was perhaps the most rewarding travel month I have ever experienced. Going forward I plan on adding excerpts from other travel journals.

Let's all hope for the best for the Afghan people.
