Well we have had a great week. Spent some time visiting with Bydie & Jean. They had us for supper twice and their place and last night we went to the Outback Steakhouse. Absolutely the best prime rib I have had in a long, long time.
Yesterday, they took us to a flea market. Now that was an experience we won't soon forget. There was even a guy there, all tattooed up of course, who had a rat on his shoulder. Yes, a freaking rat and it was real. You can only imagine what they were selling. Everythin, and I mean everything, from soup to nuts. Huge area. It runs every Saturday & Sunday. Amazing.
We are on the road again in the morning. About a 3 hour drive from here, through Orlando and on to the Kennedy Space Center. No launches while we are there but we are going to do the shuttle experience. We are really looking forward to it. We will leave here around 10am after the rush hour traffic is over so we will be there after lunch.
Temperatures have warmed up. It was in the mid 70's today. We even went and laid out by the pool this afternoon. The sun was nice a warm. Supposed to be very nice the rest of the week. We have reservations at the next campground until Friday, but may stay a day or so more if the weather is nice. Then it will be time to head north.
That's all for tonight folks. Will update tomorrow after we get landed.
