Aruba was a very interesting island. It was much more arid and desert-like than I expected, and a bit more touristy also. We saw several highlights of the island on a coastal and inland excursion. Back in town, most of the shops were closed for "boxing" day....no not the sport, but in fact a day where the shops close early so that they can box up goodies for charity. We caught a dinner in town at Iguanna Joes, did a little shopping, and headed back to the ship in time for our evening departure.
