King Me!

Travelled by bus to this bird sanctuary. The hotel is fabulous-will write about it later. Am not able to add pictures because this computer is s.....l......o......w......Will try again later.

First of all-our hotel...Caskaffesu. It is owned by an American woman who used to be in the Peace Corp. Her husband is Ecuadorian and they have built a paradise. They are both musicians and love to be with people. They are the nicest-coolest proprietors I have ever met. The hotel/restaurant is boutique style with a huge fireplace and tables for conversing and eating (entertaining). They are down to earth and because she is also a nurse she cleaned and wrapped Johns cut on his hand and arranged for the local doctor to give him a tetanus shot!!! More details later. Our day was spent taking a long hike to the butterfly farm. WOW! Another ECO friendly place locally owned. We had a great time there. Almost all of the places we have gone=we could have stayed longer.

At night we ate a terrific meal at our hotel and got to know the people better.
