Mama whale

Day 3 & 4 - We arrived at Malarrimo RV park in Guerrero Negro, or the Black Warrior town, around 4pm. Right before town we had to travel through an agricultural check point (no fresh fruit or veggies) and our cars and campers were sprayed with a anti-weed mixture. Getting parked at the RV was a bit of a cluster (the travel trailers were called in last, about an hours wait and heat but we didn't dare open the windows because we were next to a cattle yard!) but we all finally made it in. After a much needed cervesa we had dinner at the Malarrimo restaurant on property. And lets just was the best food yet! Dan had real and fresh sea scallops and I had a sonora beff filet migon.

Day 4 was spent on rough seas and in a VERY small boat by my standards...but after we saw the mommy whale with her very young whale (I named him Charlie cause he looked like a boy!) we didn't think much about the boat ride. Several in our group even got to touch them. It was a great experience! As for the afternoon we were due to hit a good fish taco stand by recommendation but they were closed and on vacation! What is up with that?! Anyhow, we may try and hit it on our way home. Tonight a quiet dinner at home.
