Day 2...Ok...first off we are not going to the jail house. Mexican words are different and I am not able to show the poper way to say.
Anyhow, "Cougar" traveled in the first group and was asked to be the tail gunner. That just means we were the last person in the first group. We did updates on how the tail or "butt", which is what we call ourselves now, is doing. We traveled about 125 miles to a dry camp on the beach. Here Dan joined Dustin, the son of the caravan wagon master and a good surfer, for some time in the water. The waves broke close to shore but I got Dan on video with a short ride.
That evening we were treated to really good margaritas prepared by the wagonmasters, John and Becky, and had a pot-luck hors d' oeurves. This night was cool with a few rain drop but nothing like the night before. Needless to say...after a few drinks we were all ready to bed around 7pm. We managed to stay up till 9pm so not to wake at 3am!
Our feelings now...so it was much better in a small group and we actually started to have fun. Being the "butt" is kinda fun!
