Day 2 and 350 milesJan 4, 2008

| We left this morning at 8:30 in a crisp 20 degrees. It was a beautiful drive down route 81. My back held at for about 4 hours, so I took myself to the couch to lay down for a half hour. Russ always stops at least twice and since we don't have a dog to walk, we walked each other. Ha. We were going to stop over at ta WalMart tonight but it's too cold and we wanted electric for the blanket. The campground only has 23 sites, nothing fancy, but we look out over a river and parked on a concrete pad (which is unusal). And with our Passport membership, it only cost $14. So tomorrow we'll get up early and head to a Flying J for diesel, propane and breakfast. Oh and did I mention we stopped at one of our favorite places. None other than Camping World in Winchester, Va. We hope to make it to Chattanoga tomorrow. |
