20,000 leagues under the sky, 2004- travel blog

I'm back in Casa, it's like a wet Wednesday in January here, probably because it is a wet Wednesday in January here. Back to get the Yellow Fever Vaccination here and then up to Rabat to sort some visas. Except that I've been doing some reading this afternoon, those of you that know me well will know that I leave everything to the last minute and this includes research about where I'm planning on going. Turns out that the best place to get the Mauritanian visa is at the border and and despite my belief that I needed a double entry visa for Senegal in order to visit The Gambia, I don't need a Senegalese visa at all. I can sort Mali out in either Dakar or Mauritania. Therefore, once my YF vaccine becomes valid I'm off and running. Lucky it rained today or I could have wasted a trip to Rabat. Think I'll do some trekking from Marrakev while I wait for the YF bugs to do their work.
