We left Bangor in the morning and arrived at Concord, NH shortly after lunch. The old GPS ( which we now call Gipsie) took us right to the door.
Were they ever surprised to see us, as they were convinced that we were leaving on the 18th and drove right by them. We convinced them that the intentions were to leave on the 26th and that we actually left one day early. And it's a good job we did because the bad weather followed us, one day behind, all the way to Texas.
We had a great time with both of them talking family and actually watched 'Dancing with the Stars' one of their favourite shows.
We declined to share their spare bed and slept overnight in their driveway to keep the pussycat from being lonesome!!
After a very hardy breakfast we left for another leg of our Adventure at 9 am.
