Today was MUCH warmer than yesterday and being Friday, things in the Djemaa el-Fna were much livelier. We took it easy today, taking a horse drawn carriage ride through the Jewish and Arab Quarters of the medina. It was a great way to see everything, and of course, no tour in Morocco is complete without the obligatory stop in a carpet shop. When we arrived in the 'showroom', 7 or 8 poor souls were in the midst of a hard sell. We had to chuckle. We got off easy by telling them we had no place to put them in our backpacks. I think we also looked a bit too amused with the whole thing.
Spent the rest of the day taking it easy, drinking mint tea and people watching on our last day in Marrakesh.
