Finally after many attempts to download some photos we have had success!
As mentioned in our last email, Nic has kept himself busy these last few weeks doing two large murals in the Diana Centre for HIV/AIDS and Palliative Care. Both are on outside walls, where the clinics are held for medical review, social work and pharmacy so many patients will enjoy them. They turned out wonderfully - in fact the head of the clinic wanted Nic to then paint inside the meeting room and was disappointed to find out that he was leaving!
Other photos are of our travels whilst we've been staying in Muheza. A few of the beach, then some of the Usumbara Mountains where we have been lucky enough to see a chameleon and Colobus monkeys (the ones which look like they are wearing a formal black and white long gown).
Fi finished work on a high point! A little girl who had been in a coma for 4 days, causing a lot of worry for her, was up eating and speaking on our very last day, as we were rushing around the ward handing out stickers (your Chirstmas pressie Kylie).
After finishing up work two days ago, we have managed to leave and re-enter Tanzania scoring another 3 month visa.... the most cruisiest of border crossings BUT the roughest of roads. Uuugh... tough travel.
We start our Kilimanjaro climb on Saturday.... so have been making the most of restaurants here in Arusha. Oh yeah, aren't we happy!
Thinking of you all...
He he he we are enjoying avoiding the lead up to christmas!
Fi and Nic
