Today it was a bit chilly. I don't think the temperature rose above about 60 degrees. This vicious Texas autumn is tough. :>)
Tonight I attended a Christmas concert by the Livingston Area Community Band, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The band is directed by Lowell Clark and is made up of volunteers who range in age from high school students to retired people from all walks of life. Quite a few of them are former band directors and school teachers. They played ten pieces, most of which were medleys of well-known Christmas songs arranged by modern composers. I really enjoyed the concert.
After the concert, I started reading "The Covenant" by James A. Michener. He is my favorite fiction author. I've read several of his books.
