Henry Horton Park, Chapel Hill, TN

Church with Alfords then to TGI Fridays

We met Curt, Michelle and the girls at church this morning at 10:00. The service was on "What the Bible Says About Homosexuality" which sounded interesting until I realized Jonathan wouldn't be going to Sunday school during the service because that was earlier in the morning. This was their church service and the kids would be with us. I was a little uneasy at this point but the pastor was excellent about addressing the subject. The people we met were all very friendly and seemed like a group that liked to have fun together as well. That's always a great quality in a church body I think.

We went out to lunch at TGI Fridays afterwards. Michelle's Aunt passed away a couple days ago so she drove up to Kentucky where the wake was being held to be with her family for the rest of the afternoon and evening.

Curt took Abigail, Emma and Jonathan home so they could all play together. Tom and I had a little bit of time to ourselves but it was like we didn't know what to do with it. Tom didn't feel like shopping at all and I wasn't real excited about fighting the crowds. The RV was really too far to go for the amount of time we had so we just ended up driving around some and getting a little more familiar with the area. We had some nice talk time which can be hard to come by sometimes.

We drove to Curt and Michelle's house to meet up with Curt and the kids. We went to the evening service with them and then the three of us headed back to the RV. It felt good to be back home after being gone all day.
