Thanksgiving Day
Jonathan woke up feeling a lot better this morning so that was a nice surprise.
We got up and had eggs and toast for a late breakfast since we were going to have Thanksgiving dinner at 3:00. I cleaned breakfast up then started getting things together to cook for today. Tom pulled the vacuum out and ran it around the RV really well. Thanks Honey! I made a turkey breast, Stove Top stuffing, Strawberry Luscious, mashed potatoes and rolls. Carol and Rich brought turkey, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and coconut cream pie. The sweet potatoes and green bean casserole were really good. :)
We had a nice time visiting and eating and eating and visiting. It was nice having company. We knew we didn't want to do the big Thanksgiving at the Clubhouse but it was nice spending time with friends.
I called Mom when Rich and Carol headed home. Donna and Jessica were still there so I got to talk with them for a while. They drew names for Christmas today so now we know who we get to shop for. :-) That's always fun.
Tom had rinsed all the dishes so stuff wouldn't be dried on them. I washed things up and then it was time for Jonathan to head to bed. He was feeling much better today. He still had a low fever but his appetite was back and his mood was good so that was nice. Timi to get to bed though because we have a driving day tomorrow.
