At Last!

Thanks for your call and good wishes. In answer to your question, VERY excited, and nervous!

I can't believe, that, after over a year of thinking about it, planning it and organising it, I'm finally going. The problem with leaving midafternoon is, I can spend the morning thinking about all the things I perhaps should have done, and the clothes I ought to have packed. But I'm heroically NOT repacking my bag again (I've done it once). I know I'm ready. I've emptied the bins, done the last minute freezer shopping for when I get back, ordered the taxi for 2.30, changed my mind twice about what to wear on the plane, checked the tickets too many times to count and taken my malaria tablet, there really isn't anything else to do, except sit and wait.

I fly at 9.30 tonight, and reach Siem Reap in Cambodia at 7.40 tomorrow evening, with just less than 3 hours in Bangkok.

I can't think of anything else to say just now. If you're lucky, and I'm not too tired, I'll try to write another entry tomorrow night, when I get to the hotel. If not, you'll have to wait for the next day!
