| We take the Interislander Ferry to Picton on the South Island. 3 hour ferry ride to get across the sixty miles to the South Island. Get into Nelson and take a short ride around town, and bike trails. Nelson has many bike trails in town. Nelson is known for art, crafts, pottery, and the jewelery store that made "the one ring" and rings, in the movie "Lord of the rings" Later, we find a Mexican restaurant for Ren, and drink margaritas! |
