Argentina I thought ...

 


Crossed the border from Chile into Argenntina (first of about 6 to do before reaching the bottom) at a place about 600 miles south of Santiago. Much snow about and looks like Switzerland or Austria and is exceedingly Germanic. Border crossings now take minutes not hours. Travelled about 40 miles on dirt (of a total of about 70) on a route called Siete Lagos (7 Lakes) which was very nice indeed. SM is a ski town (very like Jasper) well used by those having funds in Argentina.
