I hire a car.

A deer runs out in front of my car. I start braking. She stumbles and falls on the road in front of me. "No, no. Get up. Get up". I brake harder.I hope no-one is tailing me, that the tires will stop soon, and also thank myself for taking out full insurance cover. The ending is good - both the deer and car survive.

The ocean is so still- boats, homes and clouds are reflected in the water. The setting sun makes the water dazzle. Perfect for photography.

I climb a tower overlooking the national park. It's a metal tower with mesh stairs. There are only two railings on each platform - one at knee level and another at boob level. If you fell down the stairs there is a good chance you would probably fall all the way down. It's 26 metres high. I have to play little mind games in my head to force myself to the top.

Antique shops everywhere sell communist memorabilia. Soviet memorials and burial grounds feel empty and sad.
