The mountain Temple

Today we started off from Ho Chi Minh in a mini bus out of the city through more rural areas...seeing some amusing and humbling sights on the way. The things that locals carry on their mopeds such as gardening tools...electric fans!

We had a couple of ferry crossings in the Mekong Delta and tried some local snacks - every variation of Banana, grilled, fried, flavoured with Peanuts! There were some difficult sights of people injured by lindmines begging on the streets.

In the evening we wen on a motorbike trip up the mountain and visited a temple on the way.. it was FANTASTIC! dodging other bikes, buffalo, people, dogs, and the other bikes on the trip! we went through villages and visited the Thay Tay An Temple.

That evening we had some really nice food ..........prawns......i was up all night after that with stomach cramps and ......yes you guessed it!
