The weather on the 2 day trip to Grundlsee from Switzerland via Liechtenstein is fog and cloud. Somehow we have been uncanny in having great weather when we stop and poor weather when we travel. The trip is not very eventful except finding accommodation overnight at St Johan - Tirol. Everything has closed for the summer season and does not open again until just before Christmas for the ski season. We have worked out the "Frie Zimmer" is vacant room and discover private rooms at a farm on the edge of town. No idea how we end up there as we have to head down a narrow street, across the level crossing and over a stream via a one lane wooden bridge, all in about 100 meters and then stop before we are on the airstrip. The owner speaks no English but there are a British couple who have just checked in and help us out. Turns out we think that we take the last room that she has promised to someone else. The have not turned up, but do, just as we have agreed to take the room. Seems luck is on our side again. At breakfast our British friends translate and the owner asks how we ended up at her place. Seems that our response of "being lost" amuses everyone.
