| The drive here from Raton was fabulous on roads that were the nicest we've driven on for a long time. During this drive we always enjoy watching for where the antelope play and the Jemez Mountains where the foothills of Santa Fe are dotted with beautiful adobe homes. Wow- it feels so good to be back to living in our home on wheels. As much as we were glad to be close to Don's mom and available to help with many tasks around the house, we missed living in our home. Of course now this means I have time to clean my house and cook in my own kitchen again - yeah!! The Park is on the opposite side of I-40 from the American RV Park where we stayed in June. The landscape is quite different in that our walks with Baxter and Zoe are now on sandy gravel roads and their business is taken care of where goatheads are many - ouch! There are no complaints, however, about the staff, the facilities and the $315.00 we paid for the entire month of November! Amenities include an assortment of brightly colored southwestern jewelry, gifts and food items that can be found in their shop; a television lounge with easy access to a spacious laundry room proves to be very beneficial; a billiards room and free movie rentals entertain all ages; and free Wi-Fi that ensures ease in email communications and web surfing. |
