Wow, what a few days! We moved nonstop in order to do all the things in Vegas we wanted to do and still left with a few things undone!
We did so much! We went to the top of the Stratosphere and got an awesome 360 degree view of Vegas and the strip. While on the top, even rode "Insanity," a swing ride that suspends you over the edge of the sphere. We traveled up and down the strip and went in and out of almost every hotel/casino. Some were really nice and some were real dumps! It was so crowded and chaotic!
There are so many shows going on in Vegas so we chose one we really wanted to see, "O" at the Belliago. It's a Cirque du Soleil show based on water with swimmers and divers. It was breathtaking, magical, and perhaps the most amazing show I've seen. We also finally got to go to the "Bodies" exhibit. We missed it in Seattle but went to see it at the Tropicana. Totally worth it!
We ate good food at different restaurants and really enjoyed walking downtown and seeing the Fremont Experience. Of course we gambled...Olie made back the money I lost on slots by playing poker. Haha! Thanks Olie! Vegas is a very bizarre place and although we saw a lot of beautiful things, we saw somethings I would have rather not.
We sure got our fill of Vegas, maybe even too much! We leave tomorrow for the west rim of the Grand Canyon. Honestly, it'll be nice to get back into the middle of nowhere and find some peace!
